How We Use AI at Wholistic Canine
We believe in telling it like it is, and that includes being upfront about the tools we use. Wholistic Canine uses AI to help run the business side of things — organizing our operations, building and maintaining our website, branding, and handling technical work that would otherwise be out of reach for a small business like ours. Client information is never stored in AI tools — it lives in PocketSuite, our secure booking and client management system.
What AI Is Never Used For
Dog training knowledge. Every recommendation you get from our team comes from a real trainer’s education, experience, and hands-on work with your dog. We do keep a digital library of our own books and training materials, and AI helps us find where information lives — a page, a chapter, a source — so we can point you to it. It references our knowledge; it doesn’t replace it.
Session Notes
With your permission, and only with your permission, we may record a session or phone call so it can be transcribed into notes for your trainer. No session is ever recorded without your okay. This also matters to us as an accessibility tool — it lets every member of our team, including those with disabilities that make typing difficult, deliver the same quality of notes and follow-up.
Your Choice
Not all of our trainers use AI tools. If you’d prefer to work with a trainer who doesn’t, just ask — we’re happy to make that happen.
